Rand Paul Exposes Fauci’s Lies on Covid Origins

On May 31, 2023, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky) joins Fox News host John Roberts to expose Dr. Fauci’s lies surrounding the origins of the Coronavirus and his role in funding gain-of-function research in China. Since early on in the pandemic, Dr. Fauci maintained that the origins of the virus were a natural occurrence rather than a product of lab experiments in Wuhan, China. However, in February 2023, the Federal Government determined with new intelligence that the "lab leak theory" is the most plausible explanation. Senator Paul, a doctor, has been very active in investigating the origins of Coronavirus, as well as Dr. Fauci’s involvement in it and his attempts to cover up the truth.

Key Talking Points

  • In June 2022, Dr. Fauci claimed live on CNN that while open to the "lab leak theory", he wholeheartedly believed the most likely origin of the Coronavirus was a natural species to species jump.
  • However, it is only in the last six months that he has shifted his tone on the "lab leak theory" to one of “openness.”
  • Since January 31, 2020, Dr. Fauci has conspired with fellow virologists to cover up the origins of the Coronavirus.
  • Fauci’s lies and malicious actions were motivated by him knowing he had been one of the world’s leading advocates of gain-of-function research, which led to the creation of the Coronavirus, for at least a decade.
  • Fauci has said that gain-of-function research is so important that even if a pandemic breaks out, it’d be worth the knowledge.
  • He was an advocate and chief architect of funding the lab in Wuhan, where the Coronavirus has since been proven to have originated.
  • He knew that culpability would be attached to him due to his decision to fund the Wuhan lab, which is why he attempted to cover up the origins of the Coronavirus since day one of the leak.
